What is Post Authoring Enhancement?
Imagine you have a pre-authored or replicated DVD and do not have access to the original assets but need to add or change something on the DVD. Promo Scape has developed the skills to successfully post-author DVD titles. This complex process requires extensive knowledge of DVD structure and its pitfalls but is a boon to clients wishing to ‘localise’ product without going to the expense of a complete re-author. We save our clients thousands of dollars per year, enabling them to release titles that otherwise may not have been viable.
Examples:
Replace audio tracks on an existing DVD with a new mix or different language. Delete a trailer on an existing DVD, Change the Region Coding, or maybe you just need to replace the Warning screen and Distributor logos. Either way, Promo Scape can help with any of these tasks and more.
Other things we can do after the DVD has been created include:
- Import & replace VOB's in all domains.
- Add, replace, duplicate or delete logical project navigation constructs such as cells, programs, chapters, PGC's, VOB's and VTSs.
- Edit individual VOB nav packs and paste into thousands of Nav packs.
- Create chapters, Programs and Cells anywhere in a project.
- Create new Title PGCs and multiple PCG titles.
- Create dummy PGCs in the VMG, VTSM and VTS; as Title PGCs or part of Title PGCs.
